One of the few places in the world where harmony is a lifestyle

Located in the idyllic blue waters of the Indian Ocean, the Seychelles Archipelago is a scattering of 115 islands of which most are uninhabited. With almost half its landmass declared a nature reserve, Seychelles is a pristine sanctuary for birds, plants, and a myriad of species. Secluded coves, coral reefs, and sandy beaches add to the mystique and allure of the island.

A colorful blend of nationalities, Seychelles history and culture is diverse and reflected in the island way of life. This may be one of the few places in the world where harmony is a lifestyle. The multicultural influence of Africa, Asia, and Europe is seen in the arts, architecture, and gastronomy of the islands.

"Smell the sea, feel the sky, let your soul and spirit fly."

Van Morrison

The Seychelles Archipelago is unlike any other, it is the only granite island found mid-ocean, the oldest ocean islands, and the world’s largest raised coral atoll. The unique setting of a wide range of endemic species, and home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Seychelles Archipelago offers so much more than a dream beach destination.

The largest of the Islands, Mahe, is the gateway to all the smaller islands and is home to the country’s capital, Victoria. Allowing you to explore the Creole way of life, Mahe is an easy to explore destination with beautiful beaches, five-star accommodation and is the quintessential island holiday. But we recommend going further afield and exploring the private islands surrounding Mahe.

Our favorite destination within the Seychelles Archipelago is Fregate Island, an exclusive, secluded island that ticks all the boxes for the ultimate island experience.

With only 16 villas, each showcasing private butlers, terraces, plunge pools, jacuzzi, and day beds. Overlooking the seven pristine beaches and the deep blue ocean, Fregate Island is all about privacy, luxury, and the opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the island.

Island hopping is a way to visit more than one of the islands in the archipelago and an easy boat ride from Fregate Island are islands that are world-renowned, Praslin and La Digue. A full-day excursion allows you to explore these two remarkable islands.

Wander through the lush forest, spend time on a magical beach or visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Vallee de Mai.

Known as the green heart of the island, Vallee de Mai is an ancient forest with towering Coco de Mer trees, endemic reptiles, and the rare black parrot.

La Digue is the third most inhabited island and offers a much slower pace to life. Explore the island by camion, a colorful open-sided ox-drawn cart.

Dining on Fregate Island is a culinary experience in itself. Fregate Island grows more than 50 types of fruit and vegetables, all organically grown and used in their cuisine. More than 80% of their fresh produce is locally grown, adding to the flavors of the island. Added to this, you are encouraged to dine wherever you like. Crisp white linen and excellent service will be provided no matter where you choose to dine. Envisage, breakfast in the branches of a banyan tree or a torch-lit beach barbecue just for the two of you. Fregate Island offers you the freedom to be you and to enjoy the island any way you choose.

Island activities abound with walking trails, a rock spa, conservation-led explorations to find the rare Tenebaum beetle, search for turtle hatchlings. Joining any of the conservation fieldwork on the island is welcomed.

And last but not least, Fregate Island, have their own private yacht club for you to indulge your love of water sports and deep-sea fishing. Sailboats, Hobie cats, professional dive equipment, surfing, and kayaking are all available to you. If you want to join an authentic fishing trip then the local Seychellois fishermen will be more than happy to take you.

An island getaway is a treat for all who venture from the mainland in search of idyllic beaches and beautiful sunsets. Romance can be felt in every moment and every moment is a memory waiting to be created.
