The Links is currently ranked as the number one golf course in the country by South Africa’s Top 100 Courses, and 56th in Golf Digest US edition’s list of the world’s 100 greatest golf courses.

Described by Gary Player as his greatest-ever feat as a course designer, The Links has hosted some of the most prestigious tournaments in the world, including the Presidents Cup (2003), the SA Open (2005), and the 2012 Volvo Golf Champions European Tour. Inspired by the famous links courses of the British Isles, The Links is considered a true masterpiece. It plays host to many global golfing legends including John Bland, Justin Rose, Retief Goosen, Branden Grace, and Ernie Els.

Fancourt’s Montagu Golf Course, originally designed by Gary Player, has earned a world-class reputation as one of the finest 18-hole parkland layouts. It holds the prestigious 5th position on South Africa’s Top 100 Courses rankings. This tree-lined course covers large tracts of varying terrain across an undulating indigenous landscape. Steenberg Golf Estate is situated in the lush Constantia Valley, just 20 minutes from the center of Cape Town. Designed by Gary Player and named after the Outeniqua Mountains, Fancourt’s Outeniqua golf course offers a leisurely and entertaining golfing experience. It provides a more forgiving terrain than its counterpart, the Montagu, and is currently ranked 20th in South Africa by South Africa’s Top 100 Courses.

Golfers have the option to play the incredibly unique Leopard Creek Golf Course which borders the Kruger National Park, ranked No.2 in the country. After golf, you will return to the safari lodge by scenic helicopter flight in time for your afternoon safari.
